Easter Weekend Events happening in the area.
The Gulf Beaches Rotary Club with the assistance of the Isle of Capri Civic Association will sponsor an Easter Egg Hunt on Saturday, April 19, 2014 at 10am in the Treasure Island Community Center and Park, Gulf Boulevard at 106th Avenue. Activities for children 10 year old and younger will include an egg hunt; bonnet and hat contest; and a visit with the Easter Bunny. Bring your cameras so that you can take your picture with the Easter Bunny. The event is free. What’s Doing?
The Underwater Egg Hunt ‚ an outrageous egg hunt where kids dive in the pool to collect their eggs, will be done in three sessions, so every child gets a chance. All sessions line up at the pool gates on a first-come, first-served basis. Bring a mesh bag to gather your eggs.

What’s Doing?
The Easter Bunny is diving into The Florida Aquarium on Easter weekend, and this year he brought his Mermaid friends. Don’t miss the SCUBA-certified Easter Bunny diving in The Florida Aquarium Coral Reef Gallery, as well as special appearances by the Mermaids. There will be an Underwater Easter Egg Hunt and an opportunity to get your picture taken with the Easter Bunny.

Glazer Children’s Museum Egg Hunt

This promises to be an ‘egg-citing’ morning of hunting and finding Easter eggs. Guests will also be treated to a light breakfast and an opportunity to meet the Easter Bunny! There will be a toddler egg hunt for little ones age 3 and younger, and a Museum-wide egg hunt for the bigger kids.

6th Annual Easter Egg Hunt at IRB Nature Preserve

Cost: Wristbands: $8/child (All children age 1-12 that want to participate MUST have a wristband. Wristbands are not required for adults. Pre-registration is required by April 11, 2014. Wristbands are on sale beginning March 17 at Highland Recreation Complex); Parking will be available on site, at the Largo Sports Complex, and at Largo City Hall.

There will be glow in the dark activities, bounce house attractions, music, a food vendor, and age appropriate hunts. Don’t forget your basket.

– Age 6-8: 7 p.m., 7:15 p.m., 7:30 p.m.
– Age 9-12: 7:45 p.m., 8 p.m.
Please note: Each hunt will have a corresponding colored wristband. Once purchased please be sure to check your hunt time as each hunt is limited to 50 children.
